Who we are

The Steel Acacias (also known as the Corby Light Blues) are the Corby branch of the NYMC. We’re open to every Mason in Corby Lodge who hasn’t yet received Provincial Honours — from the moment you join, you’re welcome to be part of this lively group.

What we stand for

We exist for one simple purpose: to help Masons get to know each other while having a good time. Whether it’s day-to-day socialising or memorable outings, fun and friendship are at our core.

What we do

We organise a variety of informal social events where members—and often their families—can relax together outside Lodge formalities. Past activities have included:

• BBQs
• Snooker nights
• Group meals and picnics
• Bowling outings

Most of our events are family-friendly, and wives and children are often invited.

We also arrange Masonic visits to other Lodges—both nearby and in neighbouring Provinces. These visits are a great way to explore different Lodges with familiar faces, especially if you haven’t had the chance to visit elsewhere yet.

How to get involved

Joining is easy—once you’re part of Corby Lodge, you’re automatically eligible, and we’d love to see you at our next event.
