Steel Acacias – The Corby Light Blues

The Light Blues in Corby run a wide range of social events for members and their families. They keep things simple with one guiding principle:

Highlights from 2024

This year has already been packed with activity.

May: 42 Brethren from across the province joined the Khushbo Curry Night. This was followed by the Potbelly Beer and Gin Event and an excellent Chinese Night at Ya Hao, which saw over 20 in attendance. The month rounded off with a lively Pool and Beer Night in Corby.

November: A true highlight was the Steel Acacias Corby Light Blue visit to the F1 Lodge in London on 9 November. The Provincial Grand Master, Mark Constant, and Corby Group Officer, Andy Mackie, joined 25 Brethren from across the province. The event was a testament to the growing strength of the Light Blue community.

All Masons from Corby Lodges who have not yet received Provincial Honours are warmly invited to get involved. Simply reach out to any committee member listed above to find out more.

  • In addition to this year’s program, past activities have included:
  • Evenings at the Snooker Club
  • Picnics and BBQs at East Carlton Park
  • An American Theme Night
  • A food collection for Corby Foodbank at Christmas

Looking Ahead

New ideas are always welcome, particularly those that can involve family members. The Light Blues remain committed to fellowship, fun, and building lasting memories together.
